Location: the hotel was near the main market square and walking distance of shops and restaurants and the beautiful old church. I was happy to find Restaurant "rhodos", it was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the property and served nice food. The rooms were updated and comfy, had a shower, a hairdryer, and bath sheets. Got the view of garden.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Rothenburg. the location was perfect - near the main square but not too close, allowing for a peaceful atmosphere. Secondly, the hotel offered great value for money, with affordable prices and breakfast included. Additionally, the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had a comfortable stay. Lastly, our room had a lovely view of the back garden, adding to the charm of the hotel.
All was satisfactory at this hotel.

Clean, bright, well eqiopped, clearly recently renovated (or well maintained) thoughtful staff. Good city location. I picked it from the internet for price and location - and I was surprised!!!! (By the way, I stayed in February...)
No elevator - could be aproblem for some people. It was almost a problem for me (I am 78)...

The king room was beautiful and had central heating, multi-channel television, and a writing table. the location was marvelous and fantastic, just a short walk away from Rothenburg Christmas Market. - Truly enjoyed hanging out in the center, not too far from the hotel. - Everything met the demands, and I had a nice stay for one night.

Very nice and helpful staff. Very accomodating.
Bedside lamps too short. Hard to read. Need to replace with taller lamps. English TV station (CNN) only avail for a few hours during day. Need more English speaking channels such as BBC, CNN etc and have them available all day and evening.

This hotel dates from the mid 1700s yet has free wifi. The rooms are ample by German standards. The breakfast was wonderful and included in the room cost. The staff spoke English and was kind and responsive to our needs. The location was near all major attractions in Rothenburg. We would stay there again in a heartbeat and loved this small but welcoming boutique hotel. This so far has been the nicest hotel we have had on our trip to Germany and very much enjoyed our stay. Quiet, pretty, and restful.
Parking was limited, but available and free. No elevator so try not to pack too much because the top floor can be a bit of a climb. No Air Conditioning but during our visit in July 2011, the weather at night was in the high 50's (f) so it was quite comfortable. These were very minor and were really not a problem...it's Europe and many hotels are like this.

We had a great stay at a hotel close to the center and near the old town walls with a lovely Italian café nearby. Our room was bright and comfortable, and the staff was helpful and always ready to provide assistance. the breakfast was wonderful with a great selection of bread, cheese, and yogurt. the hotel had a lovely terrace where we could enjoy our dinner while admiring the view of the Old Town.
The hotel did not have air conditioning in the room.

The staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast was nice, very well kept.
It would be nice to have fans on hand during summer months. We asked for a fan since it was a 95 degree day but they didn't have any. We had to leave the windows open and due to the Bier Garden next door, there was constant noise from outside. A fan would help in cooling and also drown out some of the noise.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a historic town in Germany. The location was fantastic, right in the Old Town and close to the city center. It was just a short walk to the main market square. The staff were friendly and attentive, going out of their way to fulfill guests' wishes. The rooms had a lovely view of the back garden and were clean and comfortable. Plus, breakfast was included and offered a great selection of local and homemade products.
No complaints, everything was top-notch!
